John Park is a Korean-American singer and songwriter who was born on September 13, 1987, in Chicago, Illinois. He gained popularity through his appearances in reality singing competitions such as American Idol and Superstar K2. He was a contestant on the ninth season of American Idol in 2010 where he made it to the Top 24 before being eliminated.
In 2010, John Park also auditioned for Superstar K2, a South Korean singing competition and made it to the Top 4. After the show ended, he signed with Music Farm Entertainment and released his debut album "Knock" in 2011. He has since released several singles and albums, including "Inner Child" (2017) and "The Beginning" (2021).
